Objective: Teach some useful phrases from Newfoundland in a fun and interactive way
Background
I am American and recently moved to Newfoundland, Canada. I knew next to nothing about this eastern province. Since I love learning languages, I was eager to pick up on some local slang, which I found to be equally amusing and confusing. So I decided to find a way to teach some odd phrases you might hear here in an interactive way.

The Challenge
As I learned from local Newfoundlanders, it was hard to separate the phrases from the interesting and colorful people who said them. So I decided it would be best to illustrate the meaning of the local phrases alongside a classic "Newfie" persona - a fisherman. I illustrated the fisherman myself, and made the phrases interactive by creating various hot spots on the base layer. It was a fun project and I'm excited to think of more ways to use illustration in combination with Articulate.
